Steve is a problem-solver.  His litigation practice encompasses insurance and product liability, estates, employment, and real estate disputes.   Although he enjoys arguing the occasional motion or short trial, he finds that his greatest victories are won outside of the courtroom. Steve has successfully enforced arbitration clauses, shareholder rights, and insurance policy exclusions. He acts for corporations, business owners, insurers, municipalities, banks, estate trustees and wrongfully dismissed employees.  Clients appreciate that his pragmatic approach saves money, saves time, and makes business sense.

Steve’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy and Psychology from York University. He then graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School where he served as a Dean’s Fellow and received the Legal and Literary Society Student Honour Award. While at Osgoode, he volunteered at the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme as a case worker, Division Leader, and ultimately member of the Board of Directors.  He articled at a national Bay Street firm before honing his litigation skills in a small firm environment.

He currently volunteers for a charity that helps raise funds for the legal education of women in Cambodia. When not practicing law, Steve dabbles in photography and remains a faithful reader of technology blogs.
