Danielle completed her B.A.(Hons) at
Carleton
University , in 1998, majoring in law with a specialization in human rights, civil liberties and aboriginal law. She completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree at the
University of
Windsor in 2002, being ranked the top student in Public International Law. While at
Windsor , she spent a term as an exchange student at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, studying comparative law and European Union Public and Private law.
Danielle was called to the Bar in 2003 and is practicing in insurance, civil and commercial litigation. Her international law background and direct experience in social justice initiatives, provides context for Bennett Gastle's growing international trade policy work.
Danielle joined Bennett Gastle after spending a year in
India with a Rajasthani development non-governmental organization analyzing policies in a variety of areas including food security and the rights based approach to development.
She also gained significant experience drafting and negotiating recording, publishing and performance contracts through her employment at a large provincial theme park and working with a number of celebrated local artists.
Her interests outside of the office include photography, cuisine and travel.
