 Brad was called to the Bar in July of 2006, and practices primarily in the areas of insurance defence, commercial and civil litigation. He is also becoming immersed in international law.
Prior to joining Bennett Gastle he completed his articles at a large national firm in Toronto, gaining broad exposure to a range of litigation matters including commercial and civil litigation, labour and employment, occupational health and safety, and insurance.
Brad obtained a B.A. (Hons) in English from Wilfrid Laurier University, located in Waterloo, in 2002. He held numerous student leadership positions while completing his degree. Among other things, Brad served as the Chairperson of the Judicial Affairs Council, was a Laurier Student Ambassador for Liaison and Recruitment Services, as well as working for two years in the Residence Life Program.
Brad earned his law degree from the University of Windsor in 2005 and was an active member of the law school community. During his studies he volunteered at the Community Legal Aid Clinic, acting for individuals with legal problems in such areas as criminal law, citizenship and immigration, and landlord tenant disputes. He also participated in Law Games for all three years of his studies, serving on the Executive Committee in his second year.
Brad’s interests include traveling, mountain biking, basketball, and he is an avid golfer. He also enjoys volunteering his time at local charitable organizations such as the Humane Society.
