Welcome to Bennett Gastle

Chuck Gastle and Elizabeth Bennett-Martin formed Bennett Gastle Professional Corporation in June, 2005. Our firm is devoted to providing our clients with a broad range of litigation and trade law services.

In forming Bennett Gastle we envisioned a firm where we would provide exceptional legal services for our clients without large firm costs. A firm small in size but broad in expertise. Where clients would experience the personal commitment and dedication of our lawyers and staff. A firm that would be based on exceptional client service and a congenial work environment, where all lawyers and staff share our vision. A firm where each client would receive the personalized service best suited to their specific circumstances and needs.

Bennett Gastle is proud to share our vision with you. We will continue to ensure that it is reflected in our service to each client of our firm.

Bennett Gastle has committed to providing financial support for C.L.E.W (Cambodia Legal Education for Women) (www.clewcanada.com), a new Canadian charitable organization currently being formed by Bennett Gastle to educate young women in Cambodia. Living conditions for many women and children in Cambodia are harsh with little chance for improvement. EDUCATION is the Key.

What's New: Latest Update

From April 30th to May 15th, Elizabeth Bennett-Martin and Mrya Cooper (Secretary for CLEW) travelled to Phnom Penh to launch the CLEW (Cambodia Legal Education for Women) Charity, so that it is fully functioning by September, 2010. CLEW will provide funding to provide complete financial support for up to 30 young women from the Provinces of Cambodia to obtain a university education. CLEW has also made provision for 20 hours of instruction in the English language, which is as important as the degree in securing their future. CLEW also has provided additional computers for the students and some of them are becoming familiar with Facebook and email and everyone at Bennett Ga

stle is enjoying the contact with the students immensly.

While there, Elizabeth and Myra together with Bandol Teav (English teacher at RULE), took the students to Shianoukville on the Gulf of Thailand for an overnight trip to enjoy the beach.  Bandol and the students provided wonderful meals on the beach and Elizabeth and Myra had a good introduction into Cambodia culture.

Elizabeth also delivered 60 textbooks of Halsbury's laws, which is the most famous of the Encyclopaedias of Canadian common law, to the Royal University f

or Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh. The books were donated by Lexis Nexis which also provided free internet access to its broad range of Canadian and international databases of legal materials. Elizabeth conducted a course teaching some of the faculty and students at RULE in the use of the databases.  This is an incredible opportunity for RULE and an extraordinary gift by Lexis Nexis for which we and RULE are very grateful.
